Where to start about this idyllic Wedding in the Somerset countryside at Coombe Lodge Blagdon https://www.coombelodge.co.uk/. When Jade & Harry firstly got in touch with myself I was immediately taken aback by the love and warmth they showed and what they wanted from myself for their big Wedding celebrations. These two knew what they wanted and were also keen to meet me so we did. We tied in a time to go to the venue together and have a look around. Well I am super glad I did. You are immediately smiling when you pull in to that long road and wind your way down through the grounds. Coombe Lodge is set within the village of Blagdon and is a gem amongst the rolling hills and countryside.
The Wedding preparations on the morning were all at the venue Coombe Lodge Blagdonhttps://www.coombelodge.co.uk/. The girls and guys at opposite ends of the corridors was a cool touch. The rain clouds loomed over head at first with the morning light however they soon dispersed and we were set for an outdoor ceremony as Jade & Harry had envisaged from the start.
When it comes to Civil Ceremonies I just love it when couples decide to really put their stamp on the occasion. I just feel this provides a little individuality which should be the case. Jade & Harry decided to write their own vows detailing their thoughts and wishes as they look ahead to the future. From a filmmakers view point you already know this is a heartfelt moment. The couples friends and family travelled from distance many friends travelling up from London.
There was a sense of elegance about the day and it was a pleasure to work with Joab the photographer https://www.joabsmithphotography.co.uk/ who was just fab! As the day winded on through we were ready for the speeches and these were just again so heart warming. A moment I loved was Jade saying a few words and talking through some of her memories with Harry and their travel adventures through to just wondering the streets of London together.
As I already said the morning was concerning with the rain clouds but not only did they hold off we were met in the evening by the most beautiful sunset and we thought why not… lets have first dance up on the hill with all the guests with the sunset as the back drop. The sunsetting through the hillside and friends and family making a circle arch to surround the couple.
I hope you enjoy watching back Jade & Harrys Wedding Film.
Jade & Harry… I will always remember this day..
