BINU & BENJAMIN, SEFTON PARK PALM HOUSE, LIVERPOOL

Sri lankan themed Wedding with the delicate touches of tradition. Travelling to one of my favourite cities is always a joy especially when I have the opportunity to film a Wedding. In the midst of Sefton Park stands a glass rounded spectacle peering out from the treeline https://palmhouse.org.uk/ . A Sefton Park Palm House Wedding Video was on the agenda.  Binu & Benjamin had organised the Wedding with all the little details taken care of. When I say details everything had been tailored to match their perfect day. The decor was truly incredible not only are you surrounding by the tall gardens in the sky but put with it the incredible team from ZAZ events styling then everything is taken care of https://www.zazevents.co.uk/  Binu’s heritage from Sri Lankan was the centre of the day with the traditional ceremony at lunchtime couples with dances, drums and lots of unique vibes. Sadly some of Binu’s family couldn’t make the day due to the travel issues but they live streamed the entire day back in Sri Lanka with dad watching on.

We were in for a treat in the morning with Binu’s mum helping Binu with the final details. The traditional pink laced gold dress was accompanied with a traditional gold head piece to match. Some of these final moments of Mum & Binu together were so special and heart warming. Benjamin’s family and party were all able to attend which was great and they filled the reception room with laughter all day. I have to add that Binu’s bridesmaids were just a hoot keeping me on my toes and some gentle reminders all day which helped a lot. A stand out was their speeches, all 4 of them had wonderful words to say.

At this point I would just like to talk about the speeches. Mum’s words for Binu & Benjamin were truly extraordinary and heart warming with so much love. If you couples this with Binu’s brother there were tears throughout. Binu’s brother was so proud and full of admiration for walking Binu down the aisle to Benjamin with Dad unable to attend.

After the formalities of the traditional service and civil legal ceremony things kicked up a gear with live music and party vibes out in the gardens of Sefton Park Palm House. Obviously they had the venue to themselves so I think the music was turned up ever so slightly. Zazz events turned the Palm House into a Sri Lankan shrine with every detail taken care of with the reception looking like you could be in Sri Lanka or a similar Destination.

The party was in full swing when I left but let’s be honest this was one to remember. Click Play to watch the Full Story Film.

Great to work with Lydia Harper again on this super Wedding  https://www.lydiaharperphotography.com/
